My scientific research focuses on high-order finite element methods and hybridizable discontinuous Galerkin methods with transmission variables for time-harmonic wave propagation problems for acoustics, aeroacoustics and linear elasticity with both homogeneous and heterogeneous media that are suitable for efficient iterative schemes.

I am currently working on a rubust finite volume method tailored for multiscale hyperbolic and parabolic problems.
